Welcome to the first edition of the GEF International Waters Portfolio Bulletin of 2024! We are delighted that you are here and wish everyone a renewed sense of energy and enthusiasm. 

In this edition, we are sharing reviews, lessons learned, and milestones achieved by GEF IW projects worldwide in 2023. We will also introduce new initiatives and inspiring advocates on the ground.

The coming months are bound to be filled with numerous noteworthy updates, achievements, opportunities, and gatherings and reunions, especially at the GEF IWC10 in Punta del Este, that we can all look forward to together.

IW:LEARN is pleased to announce that the 23rd Annual Large Marine Ecosystems Consultant Meeting (LME23) will take place on 3-5 June 2024 at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. Read the LME22 meeting report to stay up to date on previous discussions.
