BRIDGE project advances ratification of Lake Chad Water Charter

IUCN, under the auspices of the BRIDGE (Building River Dialogue and Governance) project, supports Nigeria and Cameroon towards major advancements in the ratification of the Lake Chad Water Charter.
The Executive Secretariat of the Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC), the Regional Parliamentary Committee of the LCBC, and IUCN, recently conducted an information and advocacy mission within the institutions of Nigeria and Cameroon, to advance the efforts towards a full ratification of the Lake Chad Water Charter.
