As we draw the curtains on 2023 and reflect on another transformative year, we want to express our gratitude to each one of you for being a member and a contributor to the GEF IW: LEARN community.  Your active involvement in events, submission of stories from the ground, and commitment to knowledge sharing have been instrumental in making IWLEARN a hub of collaborative excellence.

Your active participation in the inaugural series of IW: LEARN-organized events, dedication, and valuable contributions have played a crucial role in our collective journey toward sustainable water resource management. Your engagement has been the foundation of IW: LEARN's success, and we hope to collaborate with you more in 2024 as we prepare for the 10th GEF Biennial International Waters Conference (IWC10) in Uruguay.

In 2023, we were also presented with a unique opportunity to reconnect with old partners and establish ones. This rekindling of relationships and forging new ones have added a dynamic dimension to our collective efforts.

We would like to express a special note of appreciation for the warm welcome extended to the new Project Coordination Unit. Your openness and collaboration have ensured a seamless transition and set the stage for continued success in the coming years.

To those who continuously share stories from the frontlines of transboundary water management, thank you. They are invaluable lessons in sustainability and the effective management of shared water resources. Each experience, each project adds a layer to our collective understanding and strengthens the foundation we build for a sustainable future.

And to our loyal readers, your unwavering support in following and advocating for global actions to safeguard freshwater and marine ecosystems remains paramount and a great motivator for us in delivering the GEF IW Portfolio Bulletins.
