The next CCLME Ecosystem survey will take place from May 8 to July 22nd

The next CCLME Ecosystem survey for 2012 will take place from May 8th to July 22nd, from Guinea to Morocco. This survey is conducted by the CCLME project in collaboration with the EAF-Nansen project "Strengthening the knowledge base for and Implementating an Ecosystem approach to Marine Fisheries in Developing Countries" on board the Research vessel Dr Fridjtof Nansen.

Researchers from seven countries of the project will participate in the survey. It will be preceded by the third meeting of the Ecosystem survey Planning and Analysis Working Group that will be held in Casablanca, (Morocco) on 28 and 29 March 2012. This meeting will allow to discuss the treatment of data from previous surveys conducted, to finalize preparations for the next ecosystem survey, including activities to be conducted within this framework.
