A regional inception workshop to develop robust Nile Basin Regional Hydromet System has concluded in Entebbe, Uganda. The workshop held from 4th to 5th August, 2014 is part of the Study initiated by the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) to develop the design specifications and phased implementation plan for the Nile Basin Regional Hydro-meteorological monitoring system. The latter will enable NBI to operationalize the Nile River Basin Monitoring Strategy (2010).
