Dr. uku elected WIOMSA president

Dr. Jacqueline Uku, KCDP Project Coordinator has been elected as the President of Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA).
Dr. Uku who also doubles up as a Senior Research Scientist at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI) began her term as the President on Friday the 21st of February 2014 after being elected by her fellow Board members during the 30th meeting of the WIOMSA Board of Trustees held in Nairobi, Kenya.
