Presenting the Large Marine Ecosystems annotated bibliography, 2017-2024

IW:LEARN is delighted to announce the release of the latest publication on Large Marine Ecosystems (LMEs), highlighting over eight years of scientific literature and practical experience behind one of the most effective approaches for ocean and coastal management and governance.
The IOC Technical Series No. 207 presents a comprehensive annotated bibliography of peer-reviewed literature on LMEs from 2017 to 2024. Building on NOAA’s 2016 edition, this publication further reinforces the knowledge base supporting ecosystem-based management (EBM) of coastal and marine resources.
With contributions from across the globe and the support of institutions like Jersey International Centre of Advanced Studies, UNESCO-IOC, and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), this resource can be very helpful for marine scientists, policymakers, and anyone working on sustainable ocean solutions.
