ADB: The Coral Triangle Video Initiative

3591 - PAS Strengthening Coastal and Marine Resources Management in the Coral Triangle of the Pacific - under the Pacific Alliance for Sustainability Program

25 Oct 2013

The Coral Triangle is home to the greatest concentration of marine life in the world, and to millions of people who rely on the sea for their livelihoods. This “Amazon of the Seas” is under threat from harmful fishing practices, environmental degradation and climate change. ADB is working with national television broadcasters from five Coral Triangle nations — Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, and Timor Leste — to raise the public’s awareness about the importance of protecting this irreplaceable natural treasure.
