About IW:LEARN (longer version)

IW:LEARN is the Global Environment Facility’s (GEF) flagship knowledge management and learning platform for transboundary water projects. Since 2000, it has supported over 500 GEF-funded initiatives across freshwater and marine systems, helping generate more than 5000 outputs that contribute to measurable global impact.

By promoting knowledge sharing, capacity building, and peer learning, IW:LEARN connects projects, practitioners, and regions. Through tools, events, exchanges, and strategic communications, it strengthens cooperation and improves the management of shared water systems around the world.
