Cape Town 2017
GEF LME:LEARN in collaboration with the GEF, UNDP, IOC-UNESCO, UN Environment and FAO will be organising two important meetings in the city of Cape Town, South Africa.
Both meetings will take place in parallel to the Volvo Ocean Race.
About 150 participants are expected to attend, including leaders from government ministries, project managers, private sector, civil society, donor agencies and LME: LEARN partner agencies. Please note that, owing to capacity constraints, these Meetings are by invitation only.
- The first meeting, Building International Partnership to Enhance Science Based Ecosystem Approaches in Support of Regional Ocean Governance, will take place from 27 November - 28 November 2017.
- The 19th Annual Large Marine and Coastal Partners Meeting will follow from 29 November - 1 December 2017.
