The GEF LME:LEARN project provided a sustainable global home for LME activities in the early years of the SDG period. It was designed to improve global ecosystem-based governance of LMEs and their coasts by generating knowledge, building capacity, harnessing public and private partnerships, and supporing south-to-south learning and north-to-north learning.
