Aim is to promote wastewater treatment and reuse in the Mediterranean and MENA region through technical assistance for policy strengthening, facilitating investments in technologies and their adoption, demand promotion and building local capacity. The project will identify opportunities for promoting appropriate cost-effective technologies for wastewater treatment and approaches for reuse, thereby contributing the mitigating the problems of water pollution and other environmental degradation as well as of water scarcity by enhancing availability of water for agriculture and other sectors.
