Reversal of Land and Water Degradation Trends in the Lake Chad Basin Ecosystem

The project has three objectives:(1) to overcome barriers to the concerted management of the basin through enhanced collaboration and capacity building among riparians and stakeholders, (2) to complete a transboundary diagnostic analysis (TDA) and prepare a descriptive framework for the concerted water management across the basin, (3)to prepare a GEF strategic action plan (SAP) for long-term implementation of priority actions to address transboundary issues.
