Environmental Protection and Sustainable Integrated Management of the Guarani Aquifer: Proposal for Project Development Funds
The main objective of the proposed project would be to support Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay in jointly elaborating and implementing a common institutional framework for managing and preserving the Guarani Aquifer for current and future generations. Also, the project would deal with the water resources and environmental issues in an integrated manner, targeting pollution as well as over-exploitation of the Guarani Aquifer.
