[LME:LEARN Policy Brief] Climate Change Adaptation: Taking a proactive approach towards mainstreaming long-term climate change adaptation strategies

Across the world’s 66 Large Marine Ecosystems (LMEs), anthropogenic climate change is already having profound impacts to terrestrial, coastal, and marine environments. Unfortunately, the impacts of climate change have already begun to manifest in numerous ways in coastal and marine environments. This policy brief touches on the two categories of government approaches used to address the impacts of climate change: climate change mitigation and climate change adaptation.
