Strategic Action Programme (SAP) Executive Summary for the Canary Current Large Marine Ecosystem
The countries of the CCLME are aware of the transboundary nature of the environmental problems and issues that threaten the sustainability of the CCLME. They have prepared a Strategic Action Programme (SAP) that focuses on solutions, management actions, planning and implementation. The SAP demonstrates the countries’ commitment to work together to implement the identified solutions. The Strategic Action Programme is the product of a rigorous eight-year analytical and consultative process. It is based on the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis (TDA) that analyses the causes, impacts and socio-economic consequences of each transboundary problem identified.
