According to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the following Data Protection information is related with the Project 10374 - GEF IW:LEARN 5 coordinated and executed by UNESCO-IOC.
GEF IW:LEARN 5 is committed to protect personal data in line with its Principles on Personal Data Protection and Privacy, and this Privacy Notice explains how GEF IW:LEARN 5 uses the personal data collected from you when you use our main digital platforms, eg. Web, Marketing and eCommerce.

We securely store your data at UNESCO IOC Premises (Paris, France) or on cloud services used by UNESCO. Your data will not be published for general access nor disclosed or sold to third parties. UNESCO, however, assumes no responsibility for the security of this information.
Data you provide directly is typically kept until either (1) you unsubscribe from the service requested or until (2) five years after your last transaction.

Newsletter (Bulletin)
If you would like to receive the IW:LEARN newsletter, we require a valid email address and that you agree to receive this newsletter. No additional data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We only use this data to send the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent. You can revoke consent to the storage of your data and email address as well as their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. through the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The data processed before we receive your request may still be lawfully processed.
The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used to distribute the newsletter until you cancel your subscription when said data will be deleted. Data we have stored for other purposes remains unaffected.
