Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Director, Subdivision for Major Projects, MED, the incumbent will lead a team of project coordination unit staff, undertake overall project management responsibilities and provide high level technical guidance and advisory services related to the implementation of the GEF-UNDP-IMO GloFouling Partnerships Project. 

The incumbent will ensure the successful delivery of a US$ 40 million global project with strong functional link with the GEF-UNDP divisions and regional coordinating organizations through formal partnership agreements and direct consultations with the global strategic partners of the project and private sector.
