The website is the channel of communication of the project coordination unit and the community. All the major events involving Caspian Sea are reflected in the site which serves as a storage for numerous documents related to Caspian Environment Program activities.. Besides the general description of the sea itself and littoral countries, it has an interactive online biodiversity database, information on GIS, including layered interactive maps. The website is bilingual - English and Russian while some pages such as weblog are even available in all the languages of the littoral countries. A discussion board is implemented in the portal. Among other resources the photo gallery and video are also at the disposal of the visitors. Everything posted on the site can be easily downloaded, absolutely free, no limitations or registration required.

The website aims to inform viewers about APCP activities and related themes, project team contacts, important links and beneficiaries (APCP club). Available in English and Croatian, the website also contains database of important regulations, reports and details of application process for the APCP investment fund. The website also features a survey mechanism (only Croatian version), RSS news feed (on both Croatian and English version) and Google maps showing the locations of the project’s beneficiaries.

Reducing Pesticides Runoff to the Caribbean Sea (REPCar)

The main goals of the website is to communicate with project partners and other stakeholders on the best practices recommended to reduce pesticides runoff. Besides general project information, the website is packed with training resources such as manuals on Good Agricultural Practices for some of the major crops in the region (http://cep.unep.org/repcar/demo-projects). Information on the status of the environment (report on pesticides residues) will be posted in the coming weeks, as it takes time to reach consensus among the partners on technical details. The website has 2 interactive tools accessible via the homepage: 1) an interactive map giving an overview of "what activities were done where", which also links to the most important publications; 2) an online database with geographic interface enables authorized users to consult on pesticides residues in the coastal environment.
