Philippines Hosts EAS Congress 2009, Venue Set in Manila
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Philippines, and the PEMSEA Resource Facility have confirmed that the site of the EAS Congress 2009 will be Manila, Philippines. The date for the Congress is set for 23 -27 November 2009.

- Financial Adviser (Pacific IWRM)
- The Financial Adviser will assume direct responsibility for the financial management of the Pacific IWRM Project. Close liaison will be required with the National project delivery teams (14 National Project Managers and National Assistants) and other regional partners. (Closing date: 25 July 2008)
- Communications/Community Assessment and Participation Adviser (Pacific IWRM)
- The Communications/Community Assessment and Participation Specialist will assume direct responsibility for the substantial community assessment, participation, information, monitoring and evaluation, communication(s) and education activities of the project. (Closing date: 25 July 2008)
- Environmental Engineer/Management Adviser (Pacific IWRM)
- The Environmental Engineer/Environmental Management Specialist will assume direct responsibility for the technical delivery of the regional and national project components of the project, working with other members of the PCU as the principal technical project post. (Closing date: 25 July 2008)
