Integrated Water Resource Management

Presentation given during a targeted workshop (Athens-Petersberg) on Integrated Management of Shared Lake Basins in Ohrid, Macedonia in July 2008. Presentation by Nighisty Ghezae, Global Water Partnership. IWRM is defined as a process which promotes the coordinated development and management of water, land and related resources, in order to maximise the resultant economic and social welfare in an equitable manner without compromising the sustainability of vital eco-systems.
