Workshop: IWRM as a tool for adaptation to climate change

A three-day workshop on Integrated Water Resource Management as a tool for adaptation to climate change for professionals of UN-Water members and partners will be held on the 4-6 of October 2011.

The training workshop will take place at the WMO Headquarters in Geneva and is organized by the UN-Water Thematic Priority Area on Water and Climate Change and the Cap-Net network.
The training workshop is specifically targeted for professionals that are not necessarily conversant with water and adaptation to climate change issues, and that need to increase their knowledge on the subject, as sometimes confronted with knowledge gaps in their work.
The deadline for registration is the 9 September 2011 and interested candidates are encouraged to register by sending the Participant Nomination Form to ssandstrom@wmo.int
