Regional Human Resources Manager, Danube-Carpathian Programme (WWF)
The WWF-DCPO Regional Human Resources Manager will drive and coordinate the development and implementation of a regional HR strategy as well as harmonized policies and procedures for WWF in Central and Southeastern Europe including particularly Austria, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria (Application Deadline: 4 March 2012).
Key Responsibilities
- Leads development and manages implementation of a regional HR strategy and business plan (FY13-FY15) as well as annual HR work plans.
- Provides HR advice and support to the Senior Management of WWF-DCPO, WWF-Austria and WWF-Hungary.
- Provides HR leadership to the WWF Country Offices, including Austria, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
- Aligns operational change needs with Human Resources related actions to be taken.
- Enhances people management skills of all programme managers and supervisors.
- Implements and maintains efficient personnel database.
Qualifications
- A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; possession of an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification would be an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years professional experience in a HR management position preferably in an international organisation/NGO in the region.
- High-level analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Romanian.
- Knowledge of other languages from the Region is an asset.
- Basic budgeting skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (incl. Excel).
