Programme Coordinator/International Team Leader
(L4) for the recently launched, 4-year UNDP-EC Central Asian Programme to "Promote IWRM and Foster Transboundary Dialogue".
The IWRM Programme Coordinator, located in the UNDP/BRC sub-regional Central Asia office (Almaty), will be responsible to coordinate, monitor and report on all programme activities, to oversee staff and operations in the national Project Implementation Units, and to support Country Offices and programme partners delivering IWRM-related advisory and knowledge services, on-demand. Under the supervision and guidance of the UNDP Bratislava Regional Centre, and in close coordination with the UNDP Resident Representatives and EC delegation in Almaty, s/he will directly liaise with all relevant stakeholders, including governmental counterparts, donors or other water sector partners in Central Asia. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master`s or equivalent degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience
- Documented experience with multi-country project/programme management
- Experience working for an international organization and/or in the
development context
- Fluency in both English and Russian, with strong communication and reporting skills
