Director of Development and Communications- Fauna & Flora International Cambridge, UK

This is a truly exciting opportunity to contribute at senior-level to an organisation at the forefront of global conservation. As a member of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the CEO, you will play a key role in the development, leadership and management of FFI and direct our Development and Communications division, representing its work to our Governing Council and Executive Committee.(Deadline 7th December 2009)

Working with our sister organisations, Fauna & Flora International, Inc. (US) and Fauna & Flora International Australia, and across our regional programmes, you will ensure FFI’s Development and Communications strategies are globally aligned. You will maximise FFI’s unrestricted income and lead FFI in generating restricted income from non-statutory sources, as well as increasing awareness and understanding of FFI’s work with key target audiences.

Committed to our cause, you will communicate our work with confidence and credibility. Your proven track record in major donor fundraising and exceptional interpersonal skills will assist you in building productive donor relationships at the highest level. An inspiring leader, you will promote partnership and collaboration and will mentor and manage your committed team to achieve excellence.
