n order to do so, our new five year strategy and business plan, launched in 2009, has set a target of creating a stronger, more robust unrestricted income stream (from current £1m per annum) and securing an increase from 2 to 5 in the number of individual donors giving £0.5m per annum to our flagship land purchase fund.
The successful candidate will manage and develop FFI’s Conservation Circle, our major donor programme of donors giving £10,000+ per annum. You will maintain communications with existing donors and plan two major special events per annum for these donors (with assistance from the Development Officer). You will work with the Director of Development and Individual Giving Manager to identify and cultivate potential donors, with special attention to those who could give £0.5m per annum to our Arcadia Land Trust.
With a successful track record in generating significant fundraised income or new business, you will have the ability to interact well with various types of donors and senior stakeholders. You will be detail orientated and keep accurate donor records (hard copy and electronic). You will be educated to degree level and will have experience in donor relationship management and making personal asks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential along with the ability to plan workloads efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
