Consultant: Procurement and Installation of Aids to Navigation Systems (MRC)

The Mekong River Commission Secretariat invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for consultancy services for the Procurement and Installation of Aids to Navigation Systems on Selected Mekong River Stretches in the Lao PDR, Thailand, and Cambodia. (Closing date: 9 January 2009)

The consultancy services consist of three components:

COMPONENT A. Procurement and Installation of Aids to Navigation on the Mekong River between Luang Prabang and Vientiane in the Lao PDR and Thailand

COMPONENT B. Procurement and Installation of Aids to Navigation on the Mekong River between Kampong Cham and Phnom Penh in Cambodia

COMPONENT C. Procurement and Installation of an Automatic Identification System (AIS) on the Mekong River between Phnom Penh and the Border of Cambodia and Viet Nam

Bidding shall be conducted according to the double envelope system and all bidders must submit one envelope containing the technical proposal and another envelope containing the financial proposal.

Both envelopes should be sent in one outer envelope with clear markings as described in the Instructions to Bidders.

The envelopes shall be addressed to the Mekong River Commission at the following
