Chief Technical Advisor, Flood Management and Mitigation Programme

Post level L-5, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, (Re-announcement) (Closing date for applications: 26 October, 2009)

The overall development objective of the FMMP is 'people's suffering and economic losses due to floods are prevented, minimised, or mitigated, while preserving the environmental benefits of floods'. It consists of five components: 1. Regional FMM Centre, 2. Structural measures and flood proofing, 3. Enhancing cooperation in trans-boundary flood-related issues, 4. Flood emergency management strengthening , and 5. Land use management.

The Chief Technical Advisor will be responsible for the provision of technical direction and management advice and support to the overall coordination and management of the programme.
