4 Post-doctoral Research Fellows (IEMP)

The International Ecosystem Management Partnership (IEMP), a joint initiative of the UN Environment Programme and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Beijing is currently hiring 4 Post-doctoral Research Fellows. The vacancies are in the domains of Ecosystem Service Valuation, and Ecosystem Management in Africa and Asia Pacific (Application Deadline: 31 March 2012).

Key Responsibilities

Study on ecosystem services valuation, trade off and management strategy.
Study on the issues of ecosystem management and climate change adaptation.
Study on issues of ecosystem monitoring and assessment, disaster management, water policy, and food security.

Qualifications

Must have obtained a PhD degree in relevant disciplines specified on Ecosystem Service, Ecosystem management in Asia Pacific, Ecosystem management in Africa.
Fluent in English, good communication skills and team work.
Have experiences of working in Africa and/or Asia-pacific are desirable.
