Bi-national Technical Commission for the Maritime Front

The Bi-national Technical Commission for the Maritime Front (CTMFM) carries out studies and adopts and coordinates plans and measures for the conservation and sustainable use of living resources and the marine environment. The Commission consists of working groups that monitor fish stocks, identifies areas in need of fishing restrictions, gives recommendations on total allowable catch, develops plans for integrated management of marine resources. CTMFM, annually organized conferences and workshops that address issues related to the coastal and marine environment.
