Report of the Fifth Meeting of the Regional Working Group for the Fisheries Component
This publication contains the report of the Fifth Meeting of the Regional Working Group for
the Fisheries Component, under the UNDP/GEF Project, “Reducing Environmental Stress in
the Yellow Sea Large Marine Ecosystem.” The report includes a summary of the
discussions and agreements from the Meeting. The fisheries management actions are
reviewed and mechanisms suggested for their implementation in the potential 2nd Phase of
the project. Progress in ongoing demonstration activities and the joint regional stock
assessment are assessed.
