Fifth Meeting of the Regional Working Group for the Pollution Component
This publication contains the report of the Fifth Meeting of the Regional Working Group for
the Pollution Component, under the UNDP/GEF Project, “Reducing Environmental Stress in
the Yellow Sea Large Marine Ecosystem.” The report includes a summary of the
discussions and agreements from the Meeting. The pollution management actions
(regulating & cultural services) for the Strategic Action Programme (SAP) were reviewed,
and mechanisms suggested for their implementation in the potential 2nd Phase of the project.
On-going SAP demonstration activities were assessed and suggestions for future work given.
