Ballast Water News Issue 3: October - December 2000
Two major meetings occurred during the October – December 2000 quarter, the 45th meeting of MEPC and the second meeting of our Global Project Task Force (GPTF), the highest advisory group to the GloBallast programme. MEPC 45 gave added impetus to GloBallast in pursuing
one of our main development objectives, assisting developing countries to prepare for the implementation of the new ballast water convention.
