MAP-Terminal Evaluation
- Identify roles for, and ensure effective participation of non-governmental organizations in the implementation of components of the SAP MED, and where appropriate incorporate these into the National Action Plans; and to address other transboundary issues

MAP-Midterm Evaluation
- This midterm review was carried out by a senior consultant. It was based on a desk review of relevant documentation, both in Nairobi and in Athens, interviews with the officials directly responsible for the implementation of the project, participation at the third meeting of the Inter-Agency Steering Committee (Athens, 28 January 2003) and at the expert meeting to review the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis (Athens, 29-30 January 2003) and on interviews with agency and national experts attending the two meetings.
