Bismarck 2008 Pelagic

The scientific objective of this series of campaigns is to better understand the role of seamounts in both benthic and pelagic ecosystems. Bismarck 2008 is structured around two overall objectives, i.e. conservation, through an inventory of benthic fauna biodiversity, and sustainable management of the exploitable resources and oceanic tuna fisheries linked to seamounts.
