Mid-term Independent Evaluation (MTE) of IW:LEARN
- This report reflects the response to the monitoring and evaluation requirement of paragraph 34 of the IW:LEARN Project document1 to undertake an independent Mid-Term Evaluation (MTE2). This report reflects 26 working days of input. The MTE mobilized on 23rd October 2006 and a questionnaire format was agreed on October 30th. A second questionnaire was subsequently developed to support short interviews. Both questionnaires were used. The draft of the MTE was submitted to UNOPS on 10th December.

IW:LEARN UNDP-Terminal Report
- The objective of this independent Terminal Evaluation was to establish whether IW:LEARN has achieved its objective of strengthening Transboundary Waters Management through facilitating learning and information sharing among GEF stakeholders and the likelihood of future impacts. The evaluation was also required to assess project performance and the implementation of planned project activities and planned outputs against actual results. In addition, the evaluation was to review the recommendations of the Mid-Term Evaluation and their implementation.

IW:LEARN UNEP Terminal Evaluation
- The support and cooperation received from IW:LEARN, UNDP, UNEP, World Bank, GEF and a wide range of project stakeholders, including beneficiaries, in conducting this terminal evaluation is gratefully acknowledged.
