Agriculture & Danube Water Pollution Background
Hundreds of toxic chemicals are released into
DRB waters with serious threats to the environment.
And many toxins come from agriculture.
This news was recently reported in the ‘Danube
River Basin Analysis’, the first ever comprehensive
analysis of the Danube environment and pressures
impacting it. The Analysis was coordinated by
the International Commission for the Protection
of the Danube River (ICPDR), the body mandated
with implementing the Danube River Protection
Convention.
