Kura River Basin-TDA
The Kura-Aras river basin is an internationally significant shared system between
Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is seriously
degraded and continues to be threatened. Integrated, multi-country, trans-boundary
responses are necessary to address the threats to the river system, and their underlying
causes.
