wiolab report for the Second Meeting of the Regional Taskforce on the Development of Regional Guidelines on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
The 2nd Workshop of the Regional Task Force/Working Group on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) was held at Mazsons Hotel in Zanzibar, United Republic of Tanzania in the period 29-30th January 2007. The meeting was attended by 24 Environmental Impact
Assessment (EIA) experts/practitioners in countries that are participating in the implementation of the WIO-LaB Project, namely Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, South Africa, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros and Mauritius. The meeting was officially opened by the Minister of Environment, Zanzibar and was attended by senior officials of the Department of Environment, Zanzibar including the National Environment Management Council (NEMC).
