Report of the final meeting of the Regional TDA Working Group
The update and finalization of the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis (TDA), as well as the
definition and adoption of the relevant indicators, are the two significant objectives of the first
year of implementation of the GCLME Project. The TDA constitutes the basis for the
formulation of the Strategic Action Programme (SAP), and the indicators, which include the
process, stress reduction and environmental status indicators. These are essential for the
Monitoring and Evaluation Processes (M and E) which are to be adopted by the Member States
as tools for long-term implementation of the SAP.
