Environment ministers agree to create
Guinea Current Commission
In a landmark decision designed to safeguard their Large Marine
Ecosystem, environment ministers from 16 West and Central African
countries agreed on 2 July to create the Guinea Current Commission
and unanimously accepted Ghana's offer to host the new regional
body.
