PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The objective of the project was to create more effective basin-wide stakeholder cooperation on
transboundary environmental issues by supporting the implementation of a subset of actions prioritized by
the TEA, including: (i) Enhancing _ the analytical capacity for a basin-wide perspective to support the
sustainable development, management, and protection of Nile Basin water and ii) _ Engaging the full
spectrum of stakeholders, from local communities to national policy makers, from elementary schools to
universities, from NGOs to line ministries, in management and protection of the Basin’s shared resources.
