An Instrumented
longline (ILL) training
cruise was recently
imp l eme n t e d b y
SWIOF P a n d i t s
French partner IRD
(Institut de Recherche pour le Développement) on board
the FV “Brahma” in Reunion Island.
The training cruise took place from the 23rd of February to
the 3rd of March 2011 and had the participation of six of
the eight SWIOFP countries - Comoros, Madagascar,
Mauritius, Kenya, Tanzania and the Seychelles.
