Course Description
Water quality objective and the chemical, physical, and biology process necessary for designing
and managing modern drinking water and wastewater treatment plants are described in the
course. The principles of coagulation, flocculation sedimentation, filtration, biological treatment,
solids handling, disinfection, and advanced treatment processes are presented.
Course Methodology
This three day course provides participants with an overview of the role of a Water Quality
Analyst from outstanding regulatory requirements and basic chemistry and microbiology
principles to working with formulas and calculations. All practical exercises will be done in class
