It is commonly recognized that increasing human interferences with the
water cycle, as well as climate variability and change, pose risks to
groundwater resources. This conference will look into ways to protect
and sustain groundwater resources. It will also present the more recent
technological and scientific developments associated with the behavior
of groundwater dynamics under changing local, regional and global
scenarios. Issues related to groundwater quality, quantity, management
and planning shall also be looked into.
