The Conference will present DREPR Project and some of similar projects experience in the region, and will focus on ways forward for development of methodologies to measure results of nutrient pollution control activities.
Under the GEF/SIDA supported Danube River-Black Sea Strategic Partnership Program, several projects for nutrient pollution control are underway or are finished in several riparian countries, including Republic of Serbia. In addition, officials from ICPDR will present long term plans for Nitrat Directive and Urban water management in the Danube-Black Sea Basins, according to EU regulations.
