Asian Irrigation Forum 2012
Asian Development Bank (ADB) is organizing the Asian Irrigation Forum to identify needs and opportunities for strengthened partnerships to deliver more productive irrigation services in Asia. ADB is inviting a range of leading sector specialists, researchers, and advisors to prepare background papers and to lead the discussions and debates at the Forum.

Objectives
- Review history, current performance, and future trends in irrigated agriculture in the Asia and Pacific region
- Identify the investment needs to support the transformation of irrigated agriculture to meet future challenges with appropriate solutions to the water-food-energy nexus over the next 10 years
Exhibition
An exhibition space will be available for development partners, private sector, irrigation research institutes, and NGOs to showcase emerging irrigation technologies and successful case studies. Providers of irrigation technology, advanced land management systems, and consultants are invited to join the Asian Irrigation Forum to participate in the Forum discussions and to meet with ADB staff and representatives of irrigation organizations from across the region.
