Building Environmental Citizenship to Support Transboundary Pollution Reduction in the Danube: A Pilot Project in Hungary and Slovenia (Project Brief)
The goal of the Project is to enhance opportunities for meaningful citizen awareness and participation in order to promote effective implementation of the pollution reduction goals of the Strategic Action Plan for the Danube and the Danube Pollution Reduction Programme. Specifically, its objectives to help Hungary and Slovenia operationalize information access and public participation in a manner that advances the goals of reducing toxics and nutrients discharges to the Danube River Basin.
