NTEAP Newsletter Vol 1 - Issue 1
This is the maiden issue of the Nile Transboundary Environmental Action Project (NTEAP) quarterly Newsletter. The NTEAP is one of the seven projects under the Nile Basin Initiative Shared Vision Program. The objective of this project is to provide a strategic environmental framework for the environmentally sustainable development of the Nile River Basin, to improve the understanding of the relationship between water resources development and environmental conservation in the Basin, and to provide a forum to discuss development paths for the Nile with a wide range of stakeholders. This Newsletter will be one of the instruments the project intends to use as a forum “to discuss development paths for the Nile with a wide range of stakeholders.”
